Good morning.

Basically i am after some advice as i have a job interview in 10 days time for the above role posted. The interview will mainly consist of a excel test over 45 mins and a interview. Now is there anything specific i should be really perfecting that could come up on this test ? If you work in this role what would you expect to see from this test ? Any web articles that could come in handy ?

The job basically is for a very very large firm and what happens is you collate sales data when it comes to you in raw form.

I have a Bsc hons in computer science and have a fairly competent grasp of excel. I would just like to go armed with the most information possible so are there any key specific functions i should be practising etc which will help me out ?

Thank you to anyone in advance and i can provide more info if needed.

Sorry I can't offer any specific advice on the Excel preparation, however it's pretty awful to see any large firm using Excel to collate raw sales data - should be done properly using a suitable application / data integration tool / database...

Good luck with the job/interview though :)

Well i may have been vague there tbh. I know the final distributions is done in excel to the end user/sales person but on my telephone interview did mention MS access briefly. Im just making some assumptions as i definitely have a excel test to sit.

Thanks for the reply

I'd suggest you refresh your memory on Pivot Tables, VLookups, HLookups, IF, IFS - those will be the things that you will need to use the most.
