Hey guys,

I'm trying to create a daily calorie counter/diary in excel but I'm having few issues…

So far I've made a combo box to select who/what you are: adult male, junior male, adult female etc. That’s linked to an index so that when you make your selection your recommended daily intake of calories is displayed – the idea being that further on down the line you will be able to make selections (combo's) of breakfast, lunch and dinner etc and your choice values (calories) will be removed from your remaining daily allowance.

I'm fairly happy with that so far and I've got a full sheet of food data but before I start making the daily combo’s for breakfast, lunch and dinner I'd like to know how I could go about making another selectable combo box at the start of the sheet that would allow me to select a regular or vegetarian menu. I'd still be using the same sheet of data but I could add another column or something and label it 'suitable for vegetarians' and use yes/no in order to restrict some of the food data if it was inappropriate for that selection.

I know its probably something quite simple, but it's really giving me a headache :(

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Simplest way is to have two sheets one for veggies and one for real people. Have them look identical and have the veggie/normal selection switch between sheets.

Yep - thanks mate! That's what I decided on in the end; a front sheet with two buttons - one for 'normals' and one for veggies :D

Each sheet references a separate, pre-determined menu.

Thanks.
