I'm usually able to google for anything I don't know how to do - but I'm struggling to even describe this in a way which google will understand!

I have a line graph in excel. What I would like to do is identify a point on that line where it reached a certain value on the horizontal axis. What I'm imagining is a vertical line which stretches from the axis line to the plotted line, intersects with it at the chosen value, then a vertical line goes down to the other axis to show clearly the 'y' value which corresponds to that 'x' value.

Any tips on whether this is possible, and how?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks. I will have a look at that tomorrow!

It is a line chart I am adding this too, but can I make it a 'combined' chart so I can overlay the 'scatter' element?
