Excel Help Please

Hey, for my Maths coursework i need to input a formula but it has cubed root in it. Can anyone tell me how to do this in an excel cell?

stick the number you want to cube root in cell a1 and paste this anywhere else

=POWER(A1,1/3)

I figured i can just put ^(1/3) on the end of my equation.
