Excel help please

Hi all, What excel equation would i use if i wanted to find out the percentage of a each country? So for instance i want to know what percentage of the below amount of country's was England? Also each day the amount of countrys will change as more are added so i want it to automatically update .


England
Scotland
Wales
Germany
Wales
Wales
England
England
Scotland
Wales
Spain
France
France
Germany
Egypt
Spain

Many ways, one which comes to mind:

=COUNTIF(RANGE,"England")/COUNTA(RANGE)

where RANGE would be the list range, e.g. A2:A30, you can make this go beyond the length of your list. COUNTIF will count all the cells with "ENGLAND", COUNTA will count all cells which are not empty.

Other ways off top of my head would be SUMPRODUCT or a Pivot Table (not a fan personally)
