Hi Guys,

I'm trying to conditionally format a date in excel, for rotation issues.

I want to highlight the cell Amber when 3 months have elapsed from a date, and highlight it red when 4 months have elapsed.

Any ideas? I'm stumped as can only get it to work looking forward.

Then add another rule for the 4month red shading but change the number in the date function to 4.

Perfect! Thanks, it was the (0,3,0) bit that was the stumbling point, is there a way i can copy that across the sheet? at present if i select the whole sheet, it'll format it all based on the return of 1 ?

You'll need appropriate dollars to freeze the cell references but yeah, it can be filled across the sheet. If you can't get it going stick up a screenshot of what you're attempting
