Excel Help

Well looking at the Prices worksheet the value of the shares never changes so the portfolio should be a simple sum value.
Thats only because I have entered data to test another part of the sheet. The prices will change.

Of course the worksheet only has values for 31/01/08 (which are false) and is posting stock prices for future dates so I dont really know what your trying to achieve
The future prices are in there just so I can test. I will need to snapshot the portfolio value on each of the dates.

The spreadsheet youve posted references other lookups outside the workbook youve posted so i cant really make a definate judgement.
No it doesnt

You'd need daily shareprice values. Traditionally EOD figures for Med/Long term holdings to calculate an ongoing portfolio value, but most investment/brokerage software would include this as standard. All in all it would seem a worthless exercise.
This isnt real world, it is an excercise from a course.
