Hi,
I am trying to create a pivotchart (bars) with an average trendline (line) running through them. However, I don't want the average trendline to have a slope, i.e. it just needs to be a constant straight line running through the bars at whatever the average figure may be.
Example:
a=4, b=5, c=6 - I just want a completely flat line running through the bars equal to 5. When I try this on a pivotchart though, the line always has a slope to it.
When I used to do this on a regular chart I'd just make a new series, where every observation had the same seperately calculated average value, and plot it on the same graph as the bars, giving me a straight line. I can't figure out how to do this with pivotcharts though :/
Any ideas? It has to be pivotchart really as it needs to update when new data is put into the main sheet.
Thank you
