excel to word conversion

Hi

ok i made a series of excel tables and then used a converter to make them into a word document. This failed as although the word document was roduced, it was produced in text boxes and therefore was useless for the people who the tables where intended to be used by.

here is a copy... can someone please covert it to a useable word file and then tell me how they did it.

Open a new word doc. Create tabs ( click on the ruler)
at points 1.5, 8,9.5,11,13

copy and paste the below into it.

selact all -> fontsize 10, Typeface Arial

Select all and rejiggle the tabs at top to look good.

Redo colour formatting etc

If you want I can redit to remove this data after, just let me know.

What I did was Excel -> Find replace , with UUUU
Export to c:\Composite Quotation System.csv
sed "s/[,]*$//" "c:\Composite Quotation System.csv" > c:\out.txt -(to remove extra commas from line ends)
Notepad c:\Composite Quotation System.csv
select all -> copy
Word -> Set tabs as above
Edit -> Paste
Search and replace , ^t (tab character)
search and replace UUUU with ,
as at start of post

hi i did find a way of just changing the file type to one both word and excel uses that keeps the colour, i can't remember how i did it nw though. but it didn't print properly.
