Hey all,

I've recently been tasked with the maintenance of an Exchange 2000 server and I don't really know a lot about them to be honest.

I have however noticed there is an additional E-mail address in the Default Recipient policy that I'm very curious about. Its not set as primary but it has no connection to our company that I am aware of.

Why would this be here?

Thanks,

Whoop :)

What's it's like? It's probably the default one created by exchange at install

Cheers for the reply :)

Its not the default, the address after the @ is a most unusual .com when I visit it on the internet. I believe an ex-employee is responsible for its creation but I am curious as to why.

Just remove it.

It may be another mailing address i.e hotmail or it may be the old users own website he has linked the address to.

When I took over network manager he had his personal e-mail address which linked to horse pictures. But that was his website he had created.
