I have a recurring information event in event viewer, it appears every few minutes. Here's the error:
The background cleanup on message 1-8EA55B is delayed (in use) on database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (SERVER)".
I've had a really good look around on the WWW but didn't find 'anything' relevant.
The message that it's refering to changes every time that it's logged and as far as I can see, there are never duplicate entries. This is on an Exchange 2000 Server Standard SP3 running on Windows Server 2000 Standard, which, as far as I can tell seems to be running just fine. This message has been getting logged for a few days now, and i'm pretty sure that it's harmless, but it's gradually becoming annoying.
Any information / tips that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
