Running an exchange 2003 server and everything is sweet apart from the fact that I can't email to a certain domain for some reason.

I can email this domain from my hotmail account fine, but if I try to send it from my work email account it never arrives.

I've checked the logs in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\SMTPSVC1 directory and if I send an email to any other domain it appears in these logs, yet if I send an email to the aforementioned domain it doesn't show so I suspect that there's some sort of spam setting that's intercepting it.

Anyone know where to look next?

Do you send your emails out via a fixed IP Address?

If they are blocking your domain then you will not be able to unblock it unless you ask them.

I think you should still be able to send to the postmaster account at there domain as there is a rule regarding SPAM and it not being blocked on that account in most cases.

I don't think it's even leaving our server as the logs don't show it.

If i send an email to any other domain it appears in the logs, if I send to that particular domain I get nothing showing up in the logs.

The exchange server must be blocking it and I can't seem to find where the setting would be to stop it doing that.

I don't have access to my Exchange 2003 server at the moment so I can't check the locations where mail could be blocked.
But, here are some articles that should help in the troubleshooting process:

Message Tracking:

Connection Filtering:

Troubleshooting mailflow:

There is a tool from Microsoft, called the "Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant".
It can be used to analyse performance and mail flow problems, so could be beneficial.

An article about how to use the tool...

Hope these are of some help.

They look like really useful links. I'm just off home now but I'll check them out in the morning, thanks :)
