Hi Guys, doing an upgrade.

Got two servers running now, both have the same roles enabled:

One 2K7 and one 2010 server.

I've started to move mailboxes to the new server but those users who remain on Ex2K7 can send but not receive email (external or internal).

Whats up here?

Also, for the life of me, Public Folders don't seem to replicate. I've looked at almost every google result and can't get it to work.

So, whats up with that!!

Thanks :)

EDIT: Solved the first one, the receive connector in the Ex2K7 box had been disabled :)

Now its just PFs

Resolved both now, thanks.

One thing that is annoying me. I can't get my Nokia E72 to sync with my Mailbox. If I choose any other user from the org, it works, but not mine.

This seemed to randomly stop working from yesterday, it did work before (exchange 2010). What settings are there which allow syncing of mobile devices?

Ta

I am a domian admin yeah. Thing is, it did work, now it doesn't.

Viewing the IIS logs, I see this:

/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync/default.eas User=me&DeviceId=IME(myIMEI)&DeviceType=NokiaEmail&Cmd=FolderSync&Log=V121_LdapC26_LdapL96_RpcC18_RpcL15_Ers1_Pk0_S111_Error:InvalidPolicyKey_Ssu:2007_Budget:(A)etc, etc domain\user 212.183.140.1 NokiaE721/2.01(0)MailforExchange 500 0 0 6625

I've replaced my username and IMEI in that above message. I'm particularly interested in the Error:InvalidPolicyKey error and the generic error at the end, both of which I've googled to no avail.

If you can remember what you had to do, I'll give it a shot.

All working now. So odd how it was working fine before, but thanks anyway. You should blog that as loads of people are having issues

I think you may be right. I thought they had moved across to the 2010 box and it was still working. Obviously not.

Thanks again

Now I just need to Public Folders to work in OWA (they are fine in Outlook), and I can kick the 2007 box in to touch and upgrade it :)
