Morning all got a quick question, we had an employee that we have fired, who had there personal ipad connected to exchange, we dont want that user to have the data so i have issued the remote wipe from the users account, after resetting the password in AD, Will this still send the wipe command or not?

Hi, if I recall correctly the limitation of EAS is that to receive a remote wipe command from an Exchange administrator, the device has to sync first. So if you've reset the password before hand (and before it sync's) you're stuffed.

There are ways around this, such as allowing EAS devices make unauthenticated connections to Exchange or implement remote device wipes unless a heartbeat is received on an interval - but both possess strong drawbacks.
