Hi all, currently going through an Exchange 2007 to 2010 transition.

I'm not actually performing this another company is completing the work on our behalf. The server is set up and all users have been moved across, however we are having trouble setting up ActiveSync again on our mobile devices so we can't get emails/calendars etc on our phones when we used to when we were on 2007.

Their tech guys having a bit of difficulty sussing out the problem so i'm just wondering if anyone could help?

It looks like it is recognising the server is there as it seems to accept username, password, mail server, but then when it comes to syncing/downloading mail/calendar/contacts etc it fails saying cannot reach the server.

This happens on difference devices (android and ios) so I can't see it being a device problem, especially as they worked fine yesterday before the migration.

Anyone any ideas?

HTTPS is usually the default. As mentioned in the other thread, it might not work until you've got the SSL Cert in place.

I came across this one while i was looking in to active sync set up recently. Not sure how this related to 2010 but might be worth checking the directory settings are correct. I think if you upgrade to 2010 it resets IIS settings to default and this may be why it is not working anymore.

But on 2010 apparently it is a lot easier now and they have a wizard, which i have not used yet. sorry.
