Having a bit of a nightmare getting this working.

Got Outlook Web Access working fine, but when I try and use my PDA using WM6 to sync with the exchange server it keeps asking for my username and password over and over, even though I am 100% sure my credentials are correct.

Had a good look on google seems a common problem, why can't MS make these things easy to setup?!?

Anyway, has anyone had this problem, or know of anything I can try to try and get this working?

OWA is just using standard http port 80 at the moment, just want to try and get this working, Can fiddle around with the security side afterwards then

Thanks

thanks for the link.

Don't have any type of authentification enabled in iis.

On the server event log on the sbs server I get this message under security:

Logon Failure:
Reason: Unknown user name or bad password
User Name: IUSR_SERVER
Domain: ******
Logon Type: 8
Logon Process: Advapi
Authentication Package: Negotiate
Workstation Name: SERVER
Caller User Name: SERVER$
Caller Domain: *******
Caller Logon ID: (0x0,0x3E7)
Caller Process ID: 6212
Transited Services: -
Source Network Address: -
Source Port: -

'Failed Audit', Event ID 529

In IIS, I only have 'Windows Integrated Authentification' Enabled

Can you browse using IE to your exchange account?

Also, try setting up using 3G or phone network as opposed to Wi-Fi if you're not already.

Lastly, mobile device settings for users is usually turned on by default but its worth double checking.

I can browse to: http://externalIP/exchange and it asks for my login credentials, on entering these correctly it takes me straight into my mailbox. (Strange how it doesn't show up the OWA welcome screen)

Already trying to connect over 3G

Outlook Mobile Access enabled on the mailbox
