Exchange distrobution list VB/VBA interfacing

Is it possible to send changes to a Exchange distrobution list via a Macro in Outlook, Access or VB Program? I can create local ones no problem from a table in my db, but I would like to update the server one automatically.

Is there a function which allows for such interaction?

We have something similiar in place, but I am looking at integrating automatic distrobution list management using a tool that we are developing that manages resources. The lists change frequently and they are >100 strong, so it is ideal to have an automation.
