Exchange emails disappeared

Had a problem with our exchange server this morning, it seemed to be picking mail up from the pop3 connector but not delivering them.

Managed to get it working again by restarting the SMTP service but it only delivered the mail that was waiting in the queue at that time.

Does anyone know where I can get the email that was sent over the weekend? I assume it must be somewhere

It will be up to the sending ISPs bouce times I would think. The exchange server may have just refused the mail and sent it back.

SBS server by chance? have you checked the failed folder? might be in there...
