Hi Guys,

At work i have a bit of a problem that I've been trying to solve. I'm very new to this Enterprise environment so I'm not very clued up. Basically we have Exchange 2007 and a mail account called Postmaster where all our spam is managed. From this we forward certain mail if it isn't spam to the intended recipient.

Now we have a problem where i add a certain group in which contains all of the IT engineers, all admins. I then restart the information pool store to apply this and all is well for a few hours... The permissions then disappear after a few hours and i'm not sure why. I've had a look through Google and protected groups are mentioned quite a bit.

We all have full permissions to the Postmaster account but have to forward from our own e-mail address which is not what we want.

Any help would be much appreciated! :D

Yup there's a fudge to get send as perms to stay on domain admin/protected group accounts.

Sticking our BES server in the other week none of our accounts could send emails from the Blackberrys as the besadmin account sendas perms didn't stick.

I had this exact same problem when I did our the other week. RIM should really put that in their docs,
