Excluding Fraps from certain programs?

I don't suppose there's any way to tell Fraps not to work in specific programs, is there?

It's giving me FPS readings in all the new Windows Live messengers.

Monitor DWM is unticked, so this new WL suite must be using some DirectX or something

Could do, but I'd like to run Fraps all the time now as I always forget to start it up before I start the game. I suppose I could turn the FPS off entirely, not much point in it really.
