HOLY ****. I guess that was 50million well spent.

* When MS says exclusive, they mean that no other system can have DLC content for GTAIV

* It will be bigger than a lot of people think. GTA3 Vice City and San Andreas were basically expansions of GTA3. Think of the DLC that way. We are talking major expansion for GTAIV
* No price has been discussed yet. It’s up to Rockstar on whether or not they will charge for it
* If successful, DLC may be the new way to deliver GTA expansions

I guess this ends the "which console to buy it for" arguement. Sony really dropped the ball on this one.

Yeah right, just like it was upto Epic if they charged for Gears content.

Vice City and SA were entirely new content on the same engine, but a hell of a lot of content. I cant see the DLC being on the scale of those, but for £50 million I would be expecting it to be significant, and now is the perfect time for Xbox to start churning the rumour mill in order to gain custom.

The Sony rumour mill can churn back, but its becoming common knowledge that the DLC is exclusive to Xbox, and the more kids that tell their mates they are getting it on 360 "coz its gonna get more stuff innit" (NB: How all kids are talking now)

I'm slightly dubious of this. They stated that the expansions would be around 10 hours long, now that usually means around 6-7 as those estimates typically mean for 100% completion (which the majority of people never bother with).

Vice City was 15 hours minimum, probably marketed at more like 25-30, so surely they can't be THAT big?

Also i'm sure that both vice city and san andreas grossed more than $50million for rockstar, so limiting those to not only one console, but to DLC with a low cost would actually result in missed profits?

Note: I know little to nothing about business, if I'm incorrect don't flame just teach me the error of my ways :)
