The Gigabyte Z97X SOC Force is exclusive to OcUK in this country.

Don't be fooled by the cut down Z97X SOC, the SOC Force is the only true Gigabyte OC Series Motherboard thanks to its 8 Phase Digital Power design.

Similar in spec to the legendary Z87X-OC, favourite amongst the world's serious overclockers but with a few extra features to push it into the stratosphere. Pick up the latest version of the overclocker's favourite board, ONLY from Overclockers UK

This board has already been used to break numerous world records and 8Pack has taken one for his current multi-GPU record attempts so I'm so confident about the quality of this board that I want to get into as many forum hands as possible. Therefore I'm offering it at a silly price to celebrate the arrival of my first lot of stock!

This price is not likely to be repeated any time soon and I'm not sure how long I can keep it this low so be quick!

Looks an overclocker's tweaking dream, but what happened to incorporating m.2 ports? With the new tech m.2, I'd be all over this like a rash at the promo price, but the apparant lack leaves me with a dilemma given I don't update my pc that often.

Started some testing with this board and its the most efficient Z97 board with single GPU I have tested so far.

Memory tuning and compatibility is excellent and stability spot on. I tried with Hynix C and Samsung based IC mems mainly with C9-12-12-21 1T TRFC 114 being possible at 2800mhz. As far as CPU overclocking goes my 4770K was doing the same frequency on LN2 as the Maximus V Xtreme which is of course a much more expensive board. Modern 3D ie Heaven,11 and 3D Mark up to 6.4 ghz.

The OC was my favourite ATX board in this sector of the market on Z87 and it certainly looks like the Force is a worthy successor to this excellent board. Gigabyte have taken what they already excelled at and pushed it a step further.

ScottiB - The spec on the Z97X-Gaming GT board is also incorrect, it is listed as having the Core3D sound chip and dual LAN ports (Killer and Intel), but the Gigabyte site says this board only has one Killer LAN port and only the SoundBlaster software on top of the Realtek chip, not the Core3D chip.
