Picture doesn't do justice to how beautiful Loch Lomond looked today. Now, if Scotland can just get a result against Ukraine it'll cap off the perfect day :)

I saw one of those in Dumfries and Galloway in august in purpley blue... what in essense are they with the side vents etc?

Awesome picture, fantastic scenery. I would love to visit Scotland some day.

You could have waited until somebody moved that old Max Power'd up Rover 400, though.

hehe. It was beautiful, the pic doesn't really do it justice. The NS60 road up to Crianlarach goes right along the side of the loch. It's well worth visiting, but you have to keep to 60 pretty much. A few speed cameras and mobile vans around. Can still have loads of fun going at legal speeds though.

I've never been that side of Scotland, my experience is limited to Fife, other than travelling through bits.

Some brilliant roads, I'll have the Elise trailered up next summer.

fox any time you want to come up scotland just let me know and we can get a meet going with the bmw club etc. :)

fantastic shot there I love driving our roads.

I think Fox was joking... or at least I hope he was. Seeing as how he's never been in a ZS, it'd be stupid of him to comment in such a way.

I usually go to Scottish isles once or twice a year - the road around Lock Lomand is just one of the most beautiful places in the UK (imo) and I love driving around it. Just a shame about some of the Scottish traffic police...

Yeah, amazing roads and scenery. Even better than the lakes. Planning a bike trip up there somtime (probably next spring now)

We go up to Scotland for xmas most years and I've noticed lat year there are loads of MG Rovers! It seemed every other car was one. Did they ship a load up there and flog them cheap or something?

Loch Lomond then up and around Loch Awe and through Glencoe, mmm... The stretch around Loch Awe where the whole road's basically a bridge, since there's no space anwyhere for a road, it's just mountain-cliff-loch, that's stunning. I took a group of bikers up there last month and we had to stop about every 100 metres to take photos :)
