executing programs on another machine on the network?

Hi all and happy Christmas,

I have my home network all set up. My computer and a server (running windows 10 server edition) both in separate rooms. the server is tucked out of the way and not instantly accessible. when i am managing game servers i have to keep going between the rooms to run executables. to save me getting up and turning things on and off, is it possible to run programs on the server from my other computer through the network with no additional software?

is that a built in feature to windows? i thought remote desktops were a third party connection thing?

Yes Windows 10 Pro and above will allow you to Remote Desktop to another machine

Ah, Windows server 2019 looks identical to Windows 10 so i just put 2 and 2 together. Tomayto tomato lol.

Also remote desktop was the solution. Thanks guys!
