Hi all sure this has been asked before, when i try to re-format my external hd it only has exfat but last time i did fat 32 is this the same ? also a questions about my sound it works fine but when my screen sleeps or i turn it off if downloading etc no sound ?

thanks Dean

Fat32 will have file size limitation of 4Gb per file.
NTFS will not have limitations but has lowered compatibility with things like TVs and media players.

I recently switched over to exFAT when I went to copy a 9Gb install image to my external HDD only to realise it was FAT32 lol.

Re: Sound, daft question but your not using speakers built intot he screen are you?

sorry yeah i am using a samsung tv ?with hdmi cable in sound it says not plugged in though, but when restart pc it works fine and says plugged in ?
