Exhaust has went from loud to quiet overnight

Wondering if anyone has any input on what this could be.

I have an HKS Hi Power system on my EP3 Civic anyone with one of these systems will know they are loud but mines is now very faded there is ahrdly any noise coming from the car at the back at all anymore.

Since this the car is also running sluggish in comparasin to how it use to - I am thinking there is a blow somewhere or my CAT has exploded?

Will be getting it checked ASAP but does anyone have any thoughts?

Cat could be blocked or you've got a hole in your exhaust somewhere but that should be louder. Need to get it on a ramp to confirm though.

Will confirm once I know mate but thats what I am thinking

Possible if car was on road but its garaged overnight and only ever sits at my work where we all have loud cars

Sounds very much like blocked cat. if you listen at the tail pipe, blocked systems will typically "Hiss" with little or no noticeable pulsation. they will also be very flat to drive

I suspect it's been de-chav'd by a local neighbour with some spray stuff. I suspect this is where your power and noise has gone. Anyway, any cool kid knows that Peco or GTFO!!

Your ricer fart cannon has had the treatment it deserves. Nothing worse than a crap Civic going past at 30mph and sounding like it should be well over a ton.

Has it featured in Max Power? Chicks love Max Power cars.

Neighbor sabotage, wouldn't surprise me at all we've got one that comes on our estate to pick his underage gf up and it sounds horrible.

I have a 6cyl turbo Dag-Dag with a pretty much straight through 2.5" system (One small box) All it does is rumble nicely with a turbo whistle top note.

Unlike petrols, you do not really seem to need silencers on turbo diesels, Fart cannons would be totally wasted...
