I've updated my Canon 10D gallery (link in signature) with placemarks for Google Earth to show the exact satellite location of where the photo was taken, as well as the orientation of the shot. Most photos are Google'd up now.
It's a very cool feature, and it's always interesting to know a bit more about the surroundings when viewing anyones pictures.
It is also possible to embed an overlay into Google Earth, to show the exact field of view (or cone of vision) to really accurately get an exact idea of what the photographer was looking at...but this is a bit more work.
So check it out and let me know what you think. Hopefully this sort of integration will become more widespread.
(n.b. you must have Google Earth already installed, it launches the application!).
