I have a simple loop cooling a 5930K at stock speed. A 240mm rad and an XSPC combo pump/res with flow rate of 420lph. If I wanted to add a 1080ti to the loop would I need more rad/pump capacity? Would a second rad be as good as a single larger one. Would I need a faster pump? The aim of the system is quietness rather than ultimate cooling for overclocking.
Andi.

If the aim is quietness then more radiator capacity would be required to be able to keep fan speeds low. If your using a D5 pump then it will cope perfectly fine. a 2nd radiator would reduce the flow rate in comparison to having a larger radiator as it an extra component
