Got myself a geil pc6400c4 kit, going from pc3200 ram, I expected more of a boost in RAM bandwith:

This was before:

After:

Is it true a high RAM multi doesn't help at all on intels, and that only FSB does?
Also what would you do, put back in my cheap ram and have 4 gig of pc3200 with ''before pic'' bandiwth, or a little bit faster ram but 2 gig of geil ull6400?

Something is wrong there. It should be running at over 10000MB/s. Looks to me like it aint running in dual channel while your old pc2-3200 RAM was.

edit: Well, it would have to be running in dual channel to get what you have posted as 6944MB/s would be the theoretical max in single channel.

Single Channel: 868 * 64 / 8 = 6944

Dual Channel: 2 x above

Assuming 64 bit bandwidth for RAM and conversion of 8 bits per byte and that you can reach the theoretical maximum.
