Expensive Speakers - Worth it?

Hello all,

I have a cheap Dell speakers that came with my old Dell PC for free(2005 that was). And atm I'm using them. However, I'm feeling that I need to change them. Nothing overkill such as 5.1 or 7.1. I am thinking of 2.0.

Now, the thing is I'm really happy with those current "cheap" speakers. And, I have no idea what advantage(s) those more expensive speakers are gonna give me.

The one, I am thinking of getting are those:

So, my question is, if I buy those. Will I go WOW, the sound is so much clearer. I don't have a sound card, only built-in. I listen to music and play games mostly.

Or do you think, I should I stick with another cheap speakers? I like the look of the above.

Argh that's some expensive stuff man So, from what I understand, buying those speakers without a sound card is kind of a waste?

I don't really want a sub-woofer, because I'm going to uni, and I don't want to carry this thing. And I don't know how much room I will have.
