MOT & TAX for the CSL
MOT for the M5

New Brakes for the CSL :D



AP 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears :)

and an unexpected set of new tyres on friday. Didnt think the drift day @ Oulton Park was going to do this to them! that was only at half twelve as well! took it a bit easier in the afternoon as didnt fancy going back for another set of tyres on the same day!

i had AP's on the front of my E39 M5, although i bought the car with them on so couldnt compare to stock. no fade around the Nuburgring though, even with 3 passengers!

AP's were on a special but still over £2k for the set. that was with over £600 off, so would have been almost £3k normal price.

havent got any more pics of the day as forgot to bring my camera ( as well as my drift box!) so only got the pics of the tyres with my iphone.

there was a mitsubishi L200 there drifting! the surface is very slippery, the wheels spin up pulling away gently in second!

Noble and M5 up for sale. CSL is the one car compromise. so in theory will be down to one car for the first time in a few years!

cant really justify the 2 cars given my current circumstances i.e. living in london and economy buggered.
 
took myself off the waiting list as there was very little chance of me getting one.

there was intially only one per dealer and i was fourth on the list.

negative ghostrider. his is gray and already has AP's.

mine is black with AP's to be fitted. came with conti's on it and as will be daily driver will keep it on road tyres.

probably get some 18's and slicks for the track.:)

I think there are about 300 gray and 100 black roughly.

I think it was the heat in them that caused them to do that. i guess i was being harsher than necessary on the throttle. The organisers were saying that gareth and elliot only use as much throttle as is needed to get is sideways. ;)
 
wasnt a busy day, 11 cars total, so at times you could just keep going round.

kept it in 2nd all the way around.

the tyres would have been on the wear limts anyway so would have needed replacing, just wanted to change tyre brands and also get a better price on them etc.
