There had been an error with the demo when first released. A working version is available on the official website which is where I downloaded it from. Perhaps some other download locations such as gamershell haven't updated yet?
I played part of the demo last night, but I didn't have time to finish it. You can't save in the demo version and I don't really want to play it from the start again as the demo is from the start of the game I believe which would be ruined a bit if I had to play for a third time when I get the full game.
I recommend people to download the demo and give it a try. It seems to have an intriguing story and was beginning to develop some real atmosphere.
The control system is an interesting twist on the traditional point and click. And the game looked like it made good use of journals, notes along with things you see happening in the game world.
I'd recommend giving the demo a whirl and it shouldn't be long before the game is out in the shops, I think its released in US already but I'm not sure when the UK/EU release date is.
