Would anyone care to share their experiences with having different monitors for different games? That is having two or more monitors connected to the same PC and using one monitor for game A and another monitor for game B. For instance I might want to play a fps on a 144 Hz monitor, a RTS on a 4K monitor, and a driving sim on a 21:9 monitor.

I have that scenario in my set-up but I only run one monitor at a time depending on what my plan for the nights entertainment is...

4k for my daily surfing, tv and games like Witcher 3, Tomb Raider, Mad Max etc...
21:9 for movies and certain games like Titanfall, F1, Dirt rally etc...
144hz for things like CSGO, BF4 etc...

Works for me! ;)

I'm almost covering those scenarios on a large 40" 4K UHD display (A399U AMH) but of course I can't do the 144Hz refresh. When I still had my 27" 144Hz panel next to it was smoother but worse in every other respect as it was TN based :)
