just got me self a free samsung 913 bm 19inch tft....

looks good...

but techinically how good are they

experts please help...

thanks in advance...

not bad at all. A very well established panel has been used in the 913N (Samsung 8ms TN Film) and has been widely used in many of the 8ms generation models which were highly rated. Models like the Hyundai L90D+ for instance also used this same panel. The 913N is very popular round here and for the price (well, especially for free!!) it is an excellent choice. More info on it in the sticky too :)

hiya...

I've been trying to find the software such as magic tune that comes with the samsung 913bm tft...

do you really need this? I have installed the drivers..

I understand the software lets you control the screen settings as opposed to have use the buttons on the screen, is this true? Is the software a must?

please help and advise

thanks in advance..

cheers!!

hey mate,

After a few days of having this monitor tonight (for the first time since I have had it) the colour is not displaying properly when I watch movies.

The movie is in colour but its like faded....

windows and games are still the same....

ok I restarted and this fixed the problem.....however why does this occur?

why is it?

Pls advise...

Thanks in advance...

Cheers!!!

probably due to overlay settings in your graphics card or something. Check in there, might be able to adjust things as video overlay display runs off different settings to desktop mode

what should the be set to?

i have an old nvidia 4600 ti on this machine....got the latest nvidia drivers tho :)

thanks badass your a star mate :)

well you can customise it. on some screens the overlay brightness needs turning up otherwise movies are dark. just have a play, see what you think

really need some help pls....

I now have 2 monitors which are running on dual view...

I dont know if this is the correct way to set this up? Can someone please clarify whether it is or not?

Also when gaming I thought I could have the game across both screen but the game automatically is displayed on the primary monitor...How do I get the display to show the game across two screens?

I have tried span view I believe its called but still the game only displays on the primary display...

Please help

Thanks in advance
