Expert opinions needed

Hi all

I Tend to get board with my pc and am allways messing around and selling my stuff and upgrading etc etc....not because i needed to but just because I wanted too.

The pc in my sig I have had longer than any other i have had before. Mainly because of money issues so have not been able to upgrade. But I am really board with my kit now and what I want to know is.....

What would you guys do with it

My questions are

Is it worth selling it and going for sandybridge...would that be an improvement.....or what would be worth doing with what I have got....maybe more memory or getting a faster cpu....

Would be happy to hear your suggestions

There's nothing wrong with that spec and I doubt a Sandybridge chip would make much difference tbh.

It depends what you're using it for. Sounds like you just have the upgrade bug, and tbh I doubt most people would see any real world difference in upgrading a rig like that. Have you had a look in the Project Logs section of the forum? Modding your current case/a new one might be a good idea if you really want to change something.

Try and keep it until the new year.
Ivy bridge, Bulldozer and new GPU's should all be out by then. (fingers crossed)
