Long story short, I work from home and have a small office set up. Main PC, Linux box (for developing on) and the usual networking gubbins, switch, router etc etc.
Now BT/Sky have left me without a connection (should have been activated 16th August)
Now I have to get back to work and I need to share my tethered connection (currently wifi to my mobile on main PC) with either my router (Sky Q Hub) and my devbox. My Devbox is pretty useless to me without internet to it.
My current situation, I have my PC wired into the LAN on my usual 192.168.1.x range so I can access my Linux box and work files and have a Wifi dongle in the same PC which is tethered to my PC providing internet to that.
I've setup the interface metrics to run wifi as a priority for the internet and LAN as a secondary for files. The only problem I have now is getting that shared connection over to my Linux box..
I'm now at a bit of a loss as to how to achieve that.
Much to my surprise, BT turned up out of the blue yesterday and got me hooked up to the cabinet.
