Explain Bailiffs to me

About 6 weeks ago my next door but one neighbours got evicted oweing £90,000
Since then (and I am under exaggerating) they have been back at least 25 times with a Bailiff sitting in big or small vans while the ex neighbours go in & out.
I know for a fact that the house, garden, garage & outhouse was packed with rubbish rather like Mr Trebus from Life Of Grime and we've even seen her carry mundane things out like a piece of wood.
It is now 23:17 and they are still loading a big white van while a Bailiff is sitting in a car watching them.
I just don't understand why they have been allowed to go back so many times unless there was a court order made saying they had to clear it out (can this happen?).
Obviously the Bailiff has got the key but I remember another family only being allowed 2 saturday afternoons to shift everything and then the doors were locked.
This has been going on nearly daily for 6 weeks and me & the neighbours are dumbfounded.

Any Bailiffs or ex Bailiffs who may know what's going on and why they are being allowed all this time?

Here's another one:
They have had a 4x4 in the drive for at least 10 years that has never been moved.
Earlier today she towed it out with her car and then towed it down the road at a very slow speed and when we went out at 6pm she had left it on the outdoor car park (no tax, no insurance and no MOT).
When we got back it was still there and about 15 mins ago I walked along the road and it is still there.
Do I get involved?
Do I tell the owners I know where the car has come from?

Is it possible the bailiffs are watching them to see if they try to sneakily remove valuable items that haven't been declared?

I doubt it because I'm 100% sure they've got nothing.
The Bailiffs didn't take anything out of the house except the dog, tortoise & hamsters and left all the other stuff like the 42" flatscreen, 2 laptops & PC.
Obviously they just want the house but I don't understand why they have been let in nearly every day for 6 weeks.

However, I am curious as to why you are taking so much interest in their demise?

You haven't had 15 years of 'Neighbours From Hell'.
This will be the first summer in 15 years where we will be able to sit in the garden.
we will even be able to open the patio doors.

As for the rest don't worry about it chum, none of your business :)

I'm thinking about the wonderful family who run the off license.

Maybe the banks have seized the house but not the contents so they are allowing them to enter the property to get possessions?

Perhaps but nearly every day for 6 weeks, surely it's unheard of?

Are they starting a zoo to try to recoup some of the debt?

:D
I know they've got the dog back because but she keeps asking every body at school if they want a dog.

It's certainly odd that they haven't touched the expensive goods.

When I've seen those Bailiff type shows on TV, they are the first things to go. If they really have nothing of value, they will face going before a judge and could be given a prison sentence.

Saw it happen to one fairly old woman who couldn't make any repayments and had nothing of value, so it was actually quite harsh to see.

If it's a council property... perhaps all the removing of animals is because they aren't supposed to have them?

I think they just want the house (it's not council) but goods inside the house would add up to penny's.
The 42" is a very old one because I installed it but they had it when they had a £50,000 loan and they were about £1800 then.
They bought a £13,000 Jacuzzi with the same loan.

As for being allowed time, I suspect that they were given a deadline to remove their belongings and the bailiffs were required to allow them entry at mutually agreed times prior to that deadline.

They are still there, I just find it really weird -

The deadline is probably today and they are over-running due to the sheer volume of junk.

Well actually yesterday (wednesday) the woman told my wife that it was their last day on wednesday.
At around 18:30 my wife called us all into the back kitchen where we watched the woman put a red tub on top of the Jacuzzi, undo a bunch of flowers and put them in the red tub
We took it as a 'farewell house' gesture although a strange thing to do.

Well looking at some of your other posts regarding what's going on and all the details of what and who has gone in and out and the number of times they've been in an out etc, maybe they too will be glad to get away.... from nosey neighbours :p

They don't GAF about the neighbours.
I've watched the old woman next door slowly crumble over the years to a gibbering wreck and she blames them on her husbands death.
It has been very hard to stay out of the abuse she has got virtually daily from the woman.
The house next to them has seen fisticuffs with the last 3 male owners and all have cleared out.
In fact because the last one knew he wouldn't be able to sell he gave the house to his sons and moved elsewhere.
There has also been fisticuffs with 2 males opposite them but they are still there.
I've been the only one who has spoken to them because I fix their pc's and look at their AV stuff and he was useful because he is a gasman.
Good riddance.
