Explain frameworks

Hey I don't quite understand how frameworks work do I download it and have to adapt the code that's there or does it simply show be rows and such to match up against? Also can you recommend me one to play around with.

Also would i be able to use this HTML boilerplate http://html5boilerplate.com/.

A framework is really just that, a framework. It's a starting point that you can edit as needed.

html5 boilerplate is great and I'd deffo recommend it. Try it from here though as you can customise it a bit more. http://www.initializr.com/

Yep. Although you should only use 1 framework of a specific type. For example, 1 javascript framework, 1 CSS framework etc. otherwise you start to get conflicts.

Things like jQuery and prototype tend to not play well together, although there are ways around it, there is nothing that one can do the other can't.
