Explain the GTR?

Hey,

How can you explain the GTRs capabilities? I've just been watching the EVO video of the GTR vs the 911 GT3, and it beats the GT3 by over a second. Now how does such a heavy car, stop, accelerate and corner better than the lightweight beast that is the GT3? What does this say about the potential V-Spec GTR which is due to be lighter and have even more power?

This car really has made a massive impact in the car world, and if the previous GTRs are anything to go by, will it just keep getting faster and faster?

Hey Nitro,

I'm not really talking about privately tuned ones. But I mean cars like the ones Nismo build, the 400R and such. If the V-Spec version is going to have 500bhp+ I can imagine that the Nismo cars are going to be up to maybe 600bhp.

Of course, the electronics play a massive part in the cars capabilities, but again, just think about how much the GTR weighs in at, I think it's well over 1800kg is it not? That's a heavy heavy car! The GT3 is what? Around 1400kg? Unless of course Nissan are lying to us about it's weight.

But the current M5 can't perform anywhere near the GTR except in a straight line?
