Explain this

i have a venice 3200 and a gigabyte k8nxp-sli. when i oc @ 10x muktiplier and get it up to 260 fsb and the mem devider @ 166. i get a 3d05 score of 7922. but when i lower the multi to 9x and put the fsb to 288 i only get a score of 7745. i cant make scence of this. so effictively i get the same cpu speed of 2.6 but i get different scores. what the heck is going on here !

ooooooooook ????? now i run 3d05 again and i get a 7951. what am i missing here ?

It isnt always consistant.... no benchmark is it all depends on what else is running in the background etc and other stuff

im well aware of that fact but a minor fluctuation is of course normal by a few points but a couple hundred points is just strange. and i always run under the same conditions.

Well 200 points is probably about 1fps lower than average in the tests
