Explorer comes unresponsive when try play internet video

Weird thing. Cant figure out why its doing this.

Happens when i try play a video on any site,try play vid,get 1-2 turns on the white load sign in vid screen box + then thats it. When i try click again i get what i can only describe as a frosted effect over page and says ontop of page windows exp. not responding.
Have to close window/all tabs and start again.

Any idea's peeps?

is that internet explorer ?
if so then try firefox and see if the same happens.

Lookslike maybe virus or program issue,have done 2 virus checks and both came out clear,but i tried to watch vid again and froze all my 5 open tabs to the point i had to switch laptop off. Just tried twice to switch back on,only for window 7 to hang 1st time after i logged in and second time screen just went black and win 7 hanged.Now running in safety mode with networking.

Havent got a clue what to do or where to start now??

Thankgod for Windows Restore.

I went back to oldest win saved restore ppoint of 3 days ago,loaded it up and bam, fixed.
Just crossed my fingers and played a vid,good news worked like it should

Havent got a clue what problem was,the only thing i can guess at is the that the restore point was before a java update was downloaded/applied????
