first of all sorry for not searching more but 50% isnt a valid search term apparently.
running vista ultimate 32bit on my laptop and recently ive noticed it getting slow and hot. yesterday i realized this is because explorer is constantly using 44-50% cpu.
heard it could be spyware causing it so ran adaware and spybot S&D but still have the problem.
also its making file transfers go stupidly slow or lock up the computer. meaning i cant even backup and then re install windows (which id be happy to do at the moment!)
any had this problem and fixed it ? or any ideas what is causing it ?
