explosion pc

Am in a major **** right now and need your all expertise.
All of a sudden when playing far cry 4 the pc made a huge snap/ pop and toxic smoke came out.Shut the pc off quickly.
But the pc still worked and cards seemed fine after turning it back on until i played far cry 4 again glitching then pc shutdown/restart and smoke coming out again. Really bad smell.
I Dont know where the ****ing hell its coming from unplugged optical drive 'cos saw the smoke Around that area but not sure at all.
Guys need your help on this one, major ****!

From the smell seems like the rad but that doesnt cause smoke does it?

I just got this motherboard last week it was an rma replacement
None of the gold capacitors seem blown.

Got a spare enermax 1500 watt too.
ordered 2 360 rads, tubing and some fans.
The bill just keeps adding..

The smell is most strong around the first fan on one of the rads.
Also the fan does not light up anymore which could be the reason peter stated.

Duly noted.
Took off the suspected fan, honestly I see nothing wrong physically.
Am seriously tempted to turn on the machine and carefully see the smoke location.

Actually reserching the symptoms it could very well be the power supply as some of you suggested.
Should I plug my enermax 1500watt and turn it on ?

OK so replaced the power supply with the enermax gold 1500 watt, it powers on boots to post screen but then shuts off and restarts continuously.
no smoke though.
I am hoping if it was the power supply it didnt damage other components.

saw the gold capacitors they look fine no black burns or anything around the board

VRMs look clean.
Replaced the cmos battery after 15 mins, still same issue.

On the error poster last thing says 99 "super io initialisation"

Could the replacment power supply be faulty?
I remember symptoms like this are caused by faulty power supplies.

Cards seem alligned.

Does the power plug matter? found one lying about as am not able to retrieve the one that came with the ps.

The motherboard may be affected as the fans connected to it dont power on/spin
Last week was my 4th RMA each time costing me £160 to fix and send it.
