when that refinery exploded near london, someone here took photos of it,
are there any photos around for us to see from it? or have they been hidden somewhere ? :p

The refinery was at Hemel Hempstead and the photographer was VIRII, he sold them to The Sun newspaper. I was thinking about this the other day as I never did see the good ones :)

I'll stick em up on one of those free google page things.
I'll have to put a disclaimer about them being copyright and that permission must be sought for republishing them though as I don't want to give the sun back £1500.

Incidentally there is a Govt report out about it with some amazing aerial shots. http://www.buncefieldinvestigation.gov.uk/report.pdf

I'll do the pics over the weekend.

how much space?

Not sure, there are 85 pictures but some are rubbish and some avery similar to others. I think that there are maybe 15 that are really worth seeing. I'd stick them up in compressed format somewhere - shouldn't take too much room.

The place still looks like a bomb hit it, not sure how many of the buildings are going to be reinhabited yet, the ones that took the brunt are going to get pulled down I would think.
