Export stylized text from Excel

I have a catalogue in an Excel spreadsheet which needs to be placed in InDesign. I have formatted each column (font size, style) in Excel to avoid having to manually format in InDesign. Is there any way of exporting the information out of Excel or import it into Word where the ‘style’ is kept?

Copying from Excel to Word usually does keep all of the formatting (text size, font, colour, cell shading etc)?

Copy, pasting gives me a table in Word. Is there any way of importing the text into word so that I have a paragraph return between each cell i.e.
