Exporting bookmarks from iPhone to iPad without MobileMe?

Doesn't it just happen during sync process initially? Both my iPhone and iPad share the same bookmarks as my mac, and I'm sure mobile me just looks after keeping then updated and inline. May be mistaken though.

I've got separate librarys for both so have not restored my iPad to my iPhone library

I have used a tool called smub.it which kind of serves the purpose.

Would have been easier to be able to extract them off the iphone backup and drop them into the ipad one

I dont want music on my iPad, and i want separate apps i.e. some specific iPad ones only on the iPad
