Not that interested personally, but have it is a good implimentation. But if someone could use the DWM API in a similar way to make multiple desktops that would be golden

Looks good, shame the page is French (cant be bothered running it through google)

Not sure if its relevant but the other week I was checking out the MS PowerToys and found a multidesk app.

Its the Virtual Desktop manager, and you can have 4 desktops running, along with a preview button for the desktops.

In practice its a bit hit and miss, mostly good, but there are some minor irritations that I forget now. Still, i can asume that it is useful for some people.
