Express A-Level

I did an Access to Science HE from 2009-2010 and it got me onto a Physics degree (now in my second year).

A word of warning though, If you do go the Access to HE route you'll want to study your butt off during the summer before you get to uni. By time limitations the Access courses do skip content, in my case it skipped a lot in hindsight.

I advise you downloading some A level past papers in Mathematics and Physics so you know what is expected of you in uni - as an example in my access course I didn't even get taught vectors! this is an absolute must in degree level physics especially in electromagnetism.

If you go the A level route - it is entirely possible to teach yourself A level physics up to a very good standard, physics is much easier than mathematics at A level.

Edit : I recommend this for studying : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Level-Physi...4189/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1329680923&sr=8-3

Can cover my entire A level biology curriculum in two weeks or so if you do solid hours of it and nothing else every day.

IIRC my mates physics text book does look considerably larger though...

The hardest bit in A level physics is probably radioactivity tbh, the rest of it is very easy if you understand the fundamentals.

I must recommend Khanacademy on youtube - he covers a lot of physics content and explains it from the basics
