I have just got a new Firewire 800 external drive to replace a knackered FW400 drive. So I now have 2 FW800 capable drives - and a FW400 that I intend on using with Time Machine in Leopard.

I'd like to get the 2 FW800 drives just that, running on FW800 - and since I have a MBP Rev A, I dont have onboard FW800 port.

Does anyone know anyone that sells FW800 Expresscard 34's? They have a NitroAV one on the Apple website but I dunno a) what its like performance wise, and b) Apple usually charge over the odds for 3rd party peripherals - so am hoping to get it cheaper then the 75quid one on their site.

I've typed all sorts of stuff in Google to find cards. Not read that review page before though - doesn't rate the Nitro card all too well.

How about a Belkin one? Not sure about Mac support or drivers but the part code is: F5U514ea (european part number, as on their website) or F5U514UK which is the UK part number naming convention.

No link as I don't want a holiday from here but think I'm ok giving you a Belkin part number seeing as OcUK do Belkin? Mods please delete if not.
