ext4 and "discard"

Howdy folks,

Anyone using ext4 on an SSD? I'm just reinstalling Fedora (13 this time) onto my new Vertex drive and want to get the fstab options correct etc.

So far i've been advised to add the usual noatime, etc. The option "discard", from what i can read, enables the usage of TRIM in the kernel. Is anyone using this? Or does anyone have any tips on optimising this SSD for Linux?

Ive been trawling the Arch/Fedora wikis the past hour so my mind is melting currently

Im using the discard option with ext4 on SSD, it's certainly worth enabling to get the benefits of TRIM.

Partition alignment is also worth doing
